The Alpine lakeshore region and its foothills present complex hydrogeological conditions: steep topography, bedrock formations alternating with unstable soil layers, and active underground streams flowing toward the lake. Consequently, site stabilization and design required exceptional focus, precise load modeling, and detailed engineering calculations.
The reinforced concrete structures serve a dual purpose:
